Deepest blessings to you as we move through the threshold that we know as new year. Wether or not you observe this time as “new year" I think the one thing we can all resonate with is that the liminality of this time and all it has to offer us as far as guidance and integration is concerned…. is a very different frequency to 2025. I felt the incoming presence of the wheel of fortune card back in November and time has simply not felt real since. This really speaks to the energy of 2026 to me as this very fast flowing river, one that might feel as though its come out of nowhere, but if we take a moment to pause and enquire, to reflect on the previous cycle, that really we have known this wild body of water all along was on its way. The speed, the momentum, the way it can sweep you up if you so choose - it's incredibly powerful energy inviting us in. And with that we kick off this wheel of fortune year with a Full Moon in Cancer.

I feel it is apt that we begin in the full luminosity of the Moons home. We have been on the mountain, in the initiations of Hermit. With the full moon in Cancer there is a feeling of return. We do not ever return the same as we left, we have walked the path of seeking our inner truth and now we integrate and implement our findings. Our lanterns still shining from the mountain top reminding us of the climb, we now rest in the waters of the celestial mother.

There is a trine- sextile relationship occuring between the Sun with Venus and Mars, and the South Node, and the same with the Moon and the North Node. I had a conversation today with my Capricorn stellium sibling and this conversation was the epitome of being an embodied human moving through cycles as someone that doesn’t really even observe “any of this stuff”. It loosely went like this :
Leanne, I can no longer continue this job (career of 15 years) it is making me sick and every day I wake up dreading walking into the building. This flu I got at the end of the year has completely floored me, and has shown me that I dont care about “being rich" or making money for the sake of it, but all I want is to be home with my dogs and my wife and build a life that allows me to do that. I want to start a dog boarding/pet sitting business. I said it out loud for the first time yesterday, that I was no longer happy, and I have just been crying about it ever since. I can no longer pretend its not true.
These moments are awakenings. Recognising you can no longer pretend to uphold the parts of you that you no longer value, that you no longer desire, or to participate in the charade of a life that is no longer yours. I share this with permission and with the context that it reflects in a very human way, the energy of this Full moon.
