TIME BEYOND TIME
A message from the liminal
Hello beloveds!!! Fàilte!! woooof. Can we just take a moment to have a belly breath and big ole sigh all the way out. Because this energy….. it is not nothing.
I woke up this morning completely disoriented. who am I? what time is it? what day is it? where am I? Then I remembered, Mercury has stationed retrograde (I literally just had to re type that because I wrote direct!!!) in Pisces. So listen, I am a Virgo sun my friendssssss, I am a mercurial woman and so if you see a typo, NO YOU DIDN’T. I also realised that an email I sent a few days ago has a horrendous typo in the subject line and there is nothing that can be done about it now other than surrendering to the embarrassing humanness of it all.
And not only that, but we are in the midst of an eclipse corridor leading to a lunar eclipse in Virgo on March 3rd, so we are very much in the wibbly wobbly nonlinear right now.
The weavers from bonestone and Earthflesh tarot
You know, what really wants to be said today as I write this is what feels alive for me right now, and that’s not diving into the intricacies of the astrology. Im feeling that what is most alive for me right now is dissolving into the full trust of the universe. We are in a wheel of fortune year, and the imagery on my deck that i’m using at this time, shows the Norns, the Norse weavers of fate. They reside in the great below at the roots of the Yggdrasil, the world tree, where past present and future converge. the Norns, weave the intricate tapestry of life. Urd draws on the memories of what has been, Verdandi intertwines the present with the threads of what could be, and Skuld threads from the mysteries of what is to come. This card has been coming up alot in spreads, both personally and for part of an upcoming container where I will be holding a cohort of 12 magicians within The Magicians table. This card coming up for me as Mercury stations RX in Pisces feels like a trust fall into all that has been unravelling, dissolving and re structuring over the last year. Do you believe in fate? That it has already been written? My desire is not in answering this question, and it has spun me out multiple times as I have made attempts to grapple with will, fate, inevitability. Instead I write poetry and hold hands with the trees.
Odin All Father from Bonestone and Earthflesh Tarot
Another energetic thread that is coming up as I feel into sacred surrender, is the hanged man. In this particular deck, Bonestone and Earthflesh Tarot, the hanged man is Odin and is represented by the lore of him sacrificing his eye. He hung upside down from the Yggdrasil, the world tree, pierced his eye with a spear and peered into the dark waters of the below. As he hung for nine days and nine nights, he called to the runes. When they revealed themselves to him, this was the sign his sacrifice was accepted. This is a reminder that there is a discomfort in the liminal that we currently reside in. But that there is guidance available. You need not stick spears in your eye as sacrifice, but it is likely that at this time there does need to be a shifting of worldview based on whatever information or guidance comes through, that its not something that can be rushed but instead needs a dip beneath the surface. This is sacred shadow work, when we come up against an edge that we are being invited to meet but it changes something about how we see ourselves or how we see the world, its a call to the meat hook if your familiar with Inanna, the world tree, the descent.
The blessing from Bonestone and Earthflesh Tarot
The piece that wants to be named here comes from The four of wands. In this deck the four of wands is called The blessing. This is another card that has been repeating in spreads over the last few weeks and it has been speaking to me about rites of passage. This card coming up as I think about the Virgo lunar eclipse and how this brings a closing energy to the Virgo south node eclipse cycle, concluding something, moving through something, releasing something, or even deeply integrating something that has been ongoing over the last year, feels deeply resonate and aligned to the idea of a rite of passage that requires recognition and celebration. I spoke about this in a reel recently on Instagram where I spoke to the loss of rites of passage through the conditions of empire. I feel deeply that in building communities both in person and through the webs of the online world, that as we connect more in spaces that contain more intimacy, we will also find ways to restore these celebrations of cyclical motion. In the world of mystics that I roll in, we do not have many spaces (especially safe ones) where we can celebrate our magic and its evolution, we are reduced to markers of success based in structures of academia and we tend to find labels to hide behind based on those credentials instead of embracing our complexity and sovereignty. It feels as though the energy of this card today is speaking to the release of the specifics that we have been conditioned to believe we need in order to move through these rites of passage into the next phase of our evolution, and that the energy of the eclipse itself will be a kind of initiation. This is an invitation to self anoint and celebrate this moment. My sense is that weather it’s on the eclipse itself or in the months after, you will know exactly when that moment has come to pass.
A Spell for the Hedgewalkers
May we trust the wisdom of threads of fate as they weave us into the great tapestry of life,
May we trust the descent into depths of the unseen, that the guidance will come, that the emergence will be clarifying,
May we honour this journey in its totality as we self anoint in the recognition of cyclical completion. May we celebrate our kin as we witness our great braiding together of pathways.
And so it is.
Sending big love to each and every one of you as we traverse the liminal time between eclipses and Mercury rx. The dreaming will serve you many many wisdoms at this time, write them down and see what threads connect over time.

Something that is happening as we speak, is that the doors for this years enrollment to The Magicians Table are OPEN and the application doorway closes on March 4th.
This table is a heart space. It’s about falling in love. With yourself. With your modality. With possibility. With the unstoppable spirit that runs through each of us so magnificently when we leap from the heart.
The Magician’s Table is a 3-month container for personal growth, community connection, and practice growing one’s tools as an intuitive and magical practitioner. We meet weekly across spring.
The Magician’s Table is a medicine space to bring you what you’re sincerely ready for in your path of emergence. No two participants have the same outcomes or process because the container gives each individual what’s most in affinity for them to see.
You will find these words written by Britten LaRue, the steward of the Magicians table, and anything else you need to know to decide if this is a space that calls you into its embrace here. I will be serving the space as a 13th reader, my cohort will be meeting on Wednesday at 9pm EST.
